Julie Ann Harris
1969-2016
Palm Coast, FL -- Julie Ann Harris, 46, of 121 Pinelakes Parkway, a former resident of Friendship, passed
away Monday, September 12, 2016, at the Flagler Hospital in Palm Coast, FL. Julie was born on
November 3, 1969 in Olean to Stanley and Carol Ward Harris.
She was a graduate of Friendship Central School, Class of 1987, and attended Oneonta State University.
Julie worked in catering and was a waitress at the Outback Steakhouse in Palm Coast, FL. Julie was our
light to the world. She lived for today. She gave her loving heart and filled the room with her infectious
smile and laughter. Each day was a blessing to have her in our lives. She will be missed but never
forgotten..
Surviving are her parents Stan and Carol Harris, Friendship; one brother, Brent (Shelly) Harris,
Friendship; four nieces, Dallas (Nicholas) Johnson, Devan Glover, Madigan Harris, and McKinlee Harris.
She is also survived by a special friend, Freto Anivin; the loves of her life, her two dogs Tahoe and Latte;
along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Julie was preceded in death by her maternal
grandmother, Laura Ward; paternal grandparents, Harry and Bettie Silvis; and maternal aunt, Mary
Ward Hickson.
A life celebration service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Christ United Methodist
Church (633 Linwood Avenue, Olean, NY) at 1 PM with Rev. Susan Block officiating.
To honor Julie’s memory, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of the Northeast
(1661 Worcester Road Suite 301, Framingham MA 01701).
