Lawrence C. Cook Jr. 61 of 351 Main St. passed away Sunday April 23, 2017 at home following a lengthy
illness. Born May 23, 1955 in Rome NY, he was the son of Lawrence C. and Donna Peck Cook Sr. Larry
was previously employed by various local farms. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time
with his nephews.
Surviving are his mother, Donna J. Cook Bolivar, one son Lawrence D. (Lacy) Cook Bolivar, one daughter
Pamela Parsons Monon, IL and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers; Steven (Marie) Cook
Friendship, Kirby (Joan) Cook Eldred PA, two sisters; Candy Rix Portville, Peggy (Cheryl Fitzsimmons)
Cook Little Genesee, two aunts; Sandy Nolder West Clarksville and Betty Kelly Port Allegany, PA. He was
preceded in death by his father Lawrence C. “Cy” Cook Sr. 1991, a brother-in-law Ronald Rix and one
aunt, Frances Ann Cook.
Private family services will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar. Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
