Linda L. Schram 69, of 8205 Route 417 West passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday February 13,
2018. Born December 6, 1948 in Cuba NY, she was the daughter of Ferdinand and Allene Stroyne
Reisman. Linda married Willard Schram on June 13, 1970 in Bolivar, Mr. Schram survives.
Linda was a graduate of the Richburg Central School class of 1967. She received Associate degree in
Nursing from the Sonyea School of Nursing and received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Buffalo
State College. Linda started her nursing career as head nurse at the Dermott Pediatric Wing of the Olean
General Hospital, later she served as director of nursing and V.P. of Nursing. In 2000 Linda was employed
by Buffalo Mercy Hospital and later Highland Hospital Rochester as administrator of the hospital ICU
stepdown unit. She returned to the Cuba Memorial Hospital in 2005 where she was Director of Nursing
until her retirement in 2010.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons; Aaron Schram Little Genesee and Brandon (Michelle)
Schram Allegany, two grandchildren; Dawson and Ella Schram, two sisters; Melinda (Ray) Kennesson
Buffalo and Tracey (Joe) Wallace Bolivar, two brothers; Ed (Jeri) Reisman Portville and Ferd (Mary)
Reisman of Atlanta, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Bonnie
Neudeck on April 4, 1982.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday February 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9
P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11A.M. Pastor David Herne of the
Heritage AFlame Ministries will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar
