Coletta A. Yehl 92 of 577 South Main St. passed away Thursday October 18, 2013 in the Teresa House Geneseo following a brief illness.
Born May 17, 1921 in Olean, she was the daughter of Charles and Johanna Nolder Wenke. She married Paul J. Ennis on December 7, 1941.
Mr. Ennis preceded her in death on September 23, 1979. In 1984 she married Fenton Yehl. Mr. Yehl preceded her in death April 8, 1993.
Coletta was a graduate of the Olean High School. She was employed by the New York Telephone Co. in Bolivar and later was employed by the
Pennwalt Pharmaceutical Co. Rochester N.Y. retiring in 1983.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church Bolivar, Home Bureau and Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Bolivar.
Surviving are three children; Timothy (Gladys) Ennis of St. Cloud Fla., David Ennis of Bolivar and Marsha Major of Retsof, N.Y.
Thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, four step children; Robert (Malia) Yehl of Arkadelphia Ark., Joseph (Roxanne)
Yehl of Allentown N.J., Ellen (Joseph) Palermo of Fairport N.Y., and Steven (Dixie) Yehl of Olean. Also surviving is her twin sister
Clara Pfeiffer of Olean and several nieces & nephews.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Sunday 10-20-13, from 2-5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
on Monday at 11am at St Mary’s Church in Bolivar, NY, with Father Thomas Roman officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery Bolivar.
