Janet L. Easterbrook
1952-2013
BOLIVAR -
Janet L. Easterbrook 61 of 80 First St. passed away Monday September 30,
2013 in the Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville following a lengthy illness. Born on May 31,
1952 in Wellsville N.Y., Janet married Darrell Easterbrook on December 23, 1972 in Bolivar. Mr.
Easterbrook survives.
She was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School. After twenty years she graduated from the
Allegany Co. BOCES with a L.P.N. degree. Janet worked for many years in the health care field
before retiring in 2007 due to ill health. She enjoyed scrapbooking and reading and was a true
animal lover.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son Darrell "D.J" Easterbrook of Richburg, two
grandchildren, Makenna Herne, Donovan Easterbrook, two sisters, Jacki (Fred) Cole of Bolivar, Donna
(Dave) Button of Bolivar, one brother, Dan (Cathy) Fuller Bolivar, several nieces and nephews, and
her two dogs Yoda and Chewy. Janet was preceded in death by a daughter Amy B. Easterbrook in 2007
and a niece Lisa Cole in 2012.
A memorial service will be held on Monday October 7, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the Schaffner Funeral Home
Inc. Bolivar. Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries will officiate. Burial will be in
Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar.
Memorials to Bolivar Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund 460 Main St Bolivar N.Y. 14715 would be
appreciated by the family.
