Linda L. Myers
1945-2013
BOLIVAR - Linda L. Myers of 1603 Salt Rising Rd. passed away on Tuesday
November 12, 2013 in the Hart Comfort House in Wellsville following a lengthy
illness. Born February 26, 1945 in Akron Ohio, she was the daughter of Elmer & Roberta Unsworth
Lansberry. She married David L. Myers on May 20, 1995 in Little Genesee, NY. Mr. Myers survives.
Linda was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She was employed as a security guard with
Burns Security Co. in Olean. She was also employed by the Sugar Creek Store in Olean and by Glintz’s
Convenience store in Bolivar. Memberships include the Richburg Fireman’s Aux. and the Richburg Rod
and Gun Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two children; Barbara (Dan) Hults of Scio, NY and Lester
(Barbara) Baker Jr. of Obi, NY. Also surviving; one sister Judith Trowbridge of Kenmore Ohio; two
brothers, Richard Lansberry of Akron Ohio and Donald (Vickie) Lansberry of Tallmedge Ohio and several
nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Carol Cargill.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday from 11A.M. to 1P.M.at which time
funeral and committal services will be held. Pastor Leslie Chambers of the West Clarksville Baptist
Church will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
