Clarence D. "Tom" Tucker
1938-2014
SCIO - Clarence D. "Tom" Tucker 76 of 4284 East Sciota St. passed away Tuesday September 23, 2014
in the Hart Comfort House in Wellsville following a brief illness. Born March 1, 1938 in Warren Pa. he was
the son of Clarence L. and Ann Rudolph Tucker. He married the former Joan Weimer on September 18, 1965 in
Richburg Mrs. Tucker survives.
Tom was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from
Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed by Dresser Rand Corp.
in Wellsville for forty years retiring in 2000. Tom was a charter member of the Scio Lions Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Troy (Rhonda) Tucker of Moore Township Pa. and
Tanya (Doug) Scholla Scio. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Griffin, Haley, and Mason Tucker
and Carter and Cassidy Scholla. One Sister Connie Lewis of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by a
sister Bonnie Isengard.
There will be no prior visitation. Private family services will be held on Thursday in Fairlawn Cemetery Scio.
Memorials to the Hart Comfort House 141 East State St. Wellsville N.Y. would be appreciated by the family.
