Frank E. Harmon Sr.
1920-2014
BOLIVAR - Frank E. Harmon Sr. of 7844 Rt. 417 West passed away on Tuesday May 13, 2014 in the Jones Memorial
Hospital in Wellsville following a brief illness. Born March 31, 1920 in Ceres N.Y. he was the son of William
and Mable Tucker Harmon. He married Catherine Nolan who preceded him in death on September 28, 1980.
On June 26, 1982 he married Norilynne Campbell, and Mrs. Harmon Survives.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II in the European Theater of operation with the
2nd Armor Division Company E. Prior to his military service Frank was employed in the local oil fields.
Following World War II he was employed as a truck driver for Flannigan Brothers in Conneaut Ohio, and
later was employed by Portville Forest Products retiring in 1974.
He was a life member of Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Bolivar, Life member of the Alma Rod& Gun Club
and a member of the Richburg Rod & Gun Club. Frank enjoyed gardening, working in his garage and visiting with friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter Virginia (Gerry) Coleman of Belmont NY and one son Frank E.(Pam) Harmon Bolivar.
Also surviving are three grandchildren; Lisa, Steph, and John; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother Leon Harmon and three sisters Gladys Amore, Bea Kifer, Arlene Phillips.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday 2-4 7-9P.M. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral
Home on Saturday May 17 2014 at 10A.M. Pastor Clint Pearsall of the Faith Bible Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
