Hattie M. Collins
1931-2014
BOLIVAR - Hattie M. Collins 82 of 125 Olean St. passed away Tuesday March 18, 2014 in the Wellsville Manor Care Center
following a brief illness. Born August 30, 1931 in Olean she was the daughter of Walter and Ruth Miller Barnes. She married
Joseph Collins on December 24, 1950 in Olean; Mr. Collins preceded her in death on July 29, 1998.
Hattie was a graduate of the Olean High School. She was employed by Acme Electric Co. Cuba for over thirty years,
prior to her retirement. Hattie was a member of the Trilby Rebecca Lodge Bolivar, Bolivar Fireman’s Aux. and the 4C’s
Senior Citizens Club Bolivar.
Surviving are four Sons, Joseph (Bonnie) Collins of Scio, Terry (Nancy) Collins of Richburg,
Thomas Collins of Richburg, Doug (Sherri) Collins of Shalimar Fla. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Barnes and Andrew Barnes; Three Sisters, Beatrice Hoy,
Flora Williams and Arlene Felmlee.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Sunday March 23, 2014 from 1-4P.M. Funeral and committal
services will be held following visitation at 4P.M. with Rev. David Herne of the Heritage Aflame Ministries Bolivar officiating.
Burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar
