OLEAN - Harry Conrad Johnson Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Harry. Johnson 88 of1753 Haskell Rd. and a former Bolivar resident passed away Tuesday September 9, 2014
in the loving arms of his children at the Hart Comfort House Wellsville. Born January 13, 1926 in Cuba N.Y.,
he was the son of Harry & Nina Hatch Johnson. On December 25, 1944 he married the former Shirley McKay in
Cuba N.Y. Mrs. Johnson preceded him in death June 3, 2008.
Mr. Johnson was a veteran of W.W.II serving with the United States Marine Corps 14th A.C.E.S. Squadron
9th Marine Air Wing Division. He was employed by Dresser Rand Corp. Wellsville retiring after many
years of service. Harry enjoyed all sports, baseball, football, hunting, fishing and golf to name a few.
He was a member of the NRA and a true outdoorsman.
Surviving are four children Conrad (Sue) Johnson of Mineral Wells W.Va., Dawn (Lou) Frungillo of Olean,
Margo (David) Thornton and Randy (Jeany) Johnson both of Bolivar; thirteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grand daughter Amanda Marie Frungillo, and a brother James Johnson.
There will be no prior visitation or Funeral Service. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Hart Comfort House 141 East State St. Wellsville N.Y. 14895
would be appreciated by the family.
