Kevin L. “Pete” Baker
1956-2014
RUCKERSVILLE, VA - Kevin L. “Pete” Baker a former Richburg resident passed away on Sunday October 26, 2014
at home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 9, 1956 in Salamanca, he was the son of
Don and Marlee Hackett Baker. He married the former Peggy Campbell who survives.
Kevin was a graduate of the Richburg Central School. He was employed by Don’s Florist and Gifts in Charlottesville Va.
He was a member of the Stanardsville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Campbell Baker of Ruckersville; his mother, M. Marlee Baker of Charlottsville, VA;
a son Seth Charles Baker and fiancée Melanie Pearce of Stanardsville VA and two grandchildren, Avery K. Drumheller
and Aliyah Lain Baker. Also surviving are two brothers, Kurtis Lynn Baker and fiancée Mary Smith of East Aurora NY;
Kelly Lewis (Elizabeth) Baker of Stanardsville VA and one sister, Kristy Louise Stives of Charlottesville Va.
He was preceded in death by his father Don Baker.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1P.M. in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar. Pastor Clint Pearsall of the
Faith Bible Church Little Genesee will officiate.
