Lois J. Foster
1935-2014
BOLIVAR - Lois J. Foster of 386 West Notch Rd. passed away Wednesday February 19, 2014 in South Buffalo Mercy Hospital following a brief illness.
Born September 6, 1935 in Derrick City Pa. she was the daughter of Clyde and Ruth Hughes.
Lois was a graduate of the Olean High School. She was previously employed by Motorola Corp., Arcade N.Y., Fisher Price Toy Co. in East Aurora N.Y.
and AVX Corp. Olean.
Surviving is a daughter, Karen (Dan) Tompkins Bolivar. Also surviving are two Sisters; Mary Ellen Barton of Olean and Jean Kitchen of Chicago Ill.
One brother, Ralph Hughes of Olean. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Kevin Foster in 2009.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 10 A.M. in the Richburg Fireman’s Club House with Pastor Larry Allen of the
Richburg First Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
