Robert D. Wilkinson
1938-2014
LITTLE GENESEE - Robert D. Wilkinson 76 of 7508 Miller Hollow Road passed away on Saturday November 8, 2014 at home
following a lengthy illness. Born August 22, 1938 in Portville, he was the son of Harry & Blanche Phillips Wilkinson.
On April 12, 1958 he married the former Diana Bartlett in Bolivar, Mrs. Wilkinson survives.
Bob was self-employed in the local oil field industry and was a self-employed logger. He operated a disposal business
and supervised the Town of Bolivar landfill. He attended West Clarksville Baptist Church, Life member of the NRA and
a member of the New York State Oil Producers Association.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Debra (Bradley) Sexton of Bolivar, Kristin (Eugene) Robak Jr.
of Bolivar and Sue (Patrick) Kayes of Bolivar. Also surviving are one sister Beverly (Richard) Monroe of Bolivar,
seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters,
Betty Wilkinson and Katherine “Kate” Langworthy.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral and committal services
will be held on Wednesday at 11A.M. in the West Clarksville Baptist Church. Mr. B. David Jones will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
Memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
