Frederick W. Faulkner

LITTLE GENESEE - Frederick W. Faulkner, 71 of 7493 Miller Hollow Rd. passed away unexpectedly
Thursday November 12, 2015 in the Strong Memorial Hospital. The son of Percy and Katherine Senn
Faulkner, Frederick was born on February 3, 1944 in Olean, NY. On June 11, 1964 he married the former
Paula Miller in Little Genesee, Mrs. Faulkner survives.
He was a 1962 graduate of the Bolivar Central School. Fred owned and operated Faulkner’s Fruit Market
in Ceres for over 33 years. Fred joined Portville Central School in 2000 as a bus driver, a position he held
until his passing. He was also employed by the Park n Shop in Portville. He was a member of the
Hinsdale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Fred was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time
with his daughters and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Lynne (Scott) Fuller, Little Genesee; Marnie (John)
Scutt, Shinglehouse PA; Laura (David) Jandrew, Bolivar and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by
three brothers and three sisters: Allen (Norma) Faulkner, Sebastian FL; George (Marian) Faulkner, Snow
Hill NC; John (Gloria) Faulkner, Portville; Margie (Winton) Paffford, Dawsonville GA; Jean Judd, Las
Cruces NM; Suzanne (John) Perez, Guyton GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6-8 PM. A
memorial service will be held on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 2 P.M. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, Route 16 Hinsdale NY. John Carron Minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses will officiate.
