Stephen B. Robinson
1950-2015
BOLIVAR - Stephen B. Robinson 65 of 150 Olive St. passed away Friday August 14, 2015 in the
Bradford Pa. Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born January 3, 1950 in Olean,
he was the son of Mervin “Les” and Lillian Neugent Robinson.
He was a graduate of the Richburg Central School class of 1968. Steve started his career in the
grocery business following high school at the Market Basket Store Bolivar, and later at Loblaw’s
Grocery Store Wellsville. Steve owned and operated two convenience stores in Obi and West Clarksville.
He later was regional sales manager for Flickingers Food Distributing Co. He was also employed by
Rick Bokman Inc. Olean as a salesman. Steve was well known in Bolivar for his landscaping business.
Steve served his community as town supervisor for several terms. He was a member of Macedonia Lodge
258 F&AM Bolivar.
Surviving are five children; Kristen (Steve) Dibble Grand Island NY, Kimberly Stabley Niagara
Falls NY, Anthony (Laura) Robinson Seattle WA, Adam Robinson Portville and Kaleigh Robinson Ft.
Lauderdale FL. Also surviving is the love of his life Jody Allen Bolivar. In addition he is
survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandson, five brothers; Mervin “Butch” (Sharon)
Robinson West Clarksville, Jeffrey (Marsha) Robinson Richburg, Thomas (Brenda) Robinson Richburg,
David Robinson Richburg, Dean (Melody) Robinson Friendship and one sister Dawn Tompkins Salisbury N.C.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Wednesday August 19, 2015 from 4-7P.M.
Funeral and Committal services will follow visitation at 7P.M. Pastor Kevin Palmitier of the Little
Genesee First Seventh Day Baptist Church will officiate.
