Paula J. Faulkner: LOVING MOTHER
LITTLE GENESEE - Paula J. Faulkner, 72, of 7493 Miller Hollow Rd., Little Genesee, passed away
peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her home with loving family by her
side. A daughter of Paul and Jean Schmidt Miller, Paula was born on January 29, 1944, in Olean. She
was a 1962 graduate of Bolivar Central School. One June 11, 1964, she married Frederick Faulkner who
predeceased her.
Paula enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She
alongside her husband owned and operated Faulkner’s Fruit Stand in Ceres for over 33 years. She also
worked and retired from Portville Park and Shop in 2011. Paula was a member of the Hinsdale
Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving family include her three daughters; Lynne (Scott) Fuller of Little Genesee, Marnie (John) Scutt
of Shinglehouse, PA and Laura (David) Jandrew of Bolivar. Also surviving are two sisters; Rebecca (Clark)
Jacques of Little Genesee and Sandra (Michael) Majot of Ceres, NY; seven grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister Marilyn Cradduck.
Private services will be held for immediate family. Arrangements are under direction of the Schaffner
Funeral Home, Bolivar.
