Darlene M. Learn 58 of 32 South Main Street passed away on Monday April 24, 2017 in the Olean
General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on July 1, 1958 in Olean; she was the daughter
of Donn “Dick” and Jeannine Brundage Faulkner.
Darlene was a graduate of the Richburg Central School class of 1976. She was a former employee of
AVX Corporation Olean.
Surviving is her father Donn “Dick” Faulkner Richburg, three children; Holden Faulkner Portville, Brock
Faulkner Friendship, Leala (Richard) Irvin Portville and six grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters
Kathy (Dan) Matacale Wellsville, Vicki (Fred) Dearborn Richburg and Dickee Pastor Cuba. She was
preceded in death by her mother Jeannine Faulkner 2003, a grandson Blazedyn Faulkner 2014 and a
sister Jeanie Maedl 2014.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Saturday from 12 noon - 2 PM. Funeral
services will be held following visitation at 2 PM. Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries
Bolivar will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship. Memorial to the charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
