Marion R. Skinner 93 of 2455 Hikers Trail and a former resident of Bolivar and Tampa FL. Passed away
Wednesday December 6, 2017 follow a lengthy illness. Marion was born on July 26, 1924 in Olean. She
was the daughter of Clarence and Alice Richardson. She married Earl L. Skinner on June 10, 1946 in
Bolivar. Mr. Skinner preceded her in death on December 20, 1970.
Marion was employed by Bell Aircraft in Niagara Falls for five years and later was employed as an
operator for New York Telephone Co. in Olean for twenty five years. After moving to Tampa she was
employed by Tampa International Airport for seventeen years and Bay Shore Presbyterian Apartments.
She was a member of the Bay Shore Presbyterian Church, Member of the “Owls” at Christ the King
Church, member of the 60 plus club at the Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Bolivar Fire
Department Auxiliary.
Surviving are two children, Sherry (Pete) Rebar of Shula Vista CA. and Don T. (Karen Oliver) Skinner Bolivar
and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Ivan McKay.
There will be no prior services. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
