Dawn M. Stilson
1970-2018
Dawn M. Stilson 48 of 6723c, Phillips Hill Road passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018 in the Olean
General Hospital. Born on June 22, 1970 in Wellsville she was the daughter of Michael and Shirley
Emerson Morsman. Dawn married Christopher P. Stilson on October 22, 1992 in Richburg, Mr. Stilson
survives.
Dawn was a graduate of the Friendship Central School class of 1988 and a graduate of the Allegany
County B.O.C.E.S School of practical nursing. She was employed by Allegany ARC Wellsville in the Day
Care program, and also did home health care. Dawn was a member of the York’s Corners Mennonite
Church and a member of the Richburg Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her father Michael Morsman Friendship, two children Kristen
Stilson Richburg and Trevor Stilson Richburg; two brothers, David (Christina) McCarthy Tennessee and
Dean (Jessica Mayberry) Morsman Olean. Also surviving is her mother-in-Law Frances K. Stilson
Shinglehouse PA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley
Morsman in 2013.
Friends may call at the York’s Corners Mennonite Church on Saturday January 5, 2019 from 10AM-1PM.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 1PM. Pastor Eugene Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Richburg
Cemetery.
