Julia R. Dimpfl 68 of 129 Olean Street passed away on Thursday November 22, 2018 at home following a
brief illness. Born on February 17, 1950 in Bradford PA, she was the daughter of Leroy and Ethel Rice
Lovell. Julia married Francis L. Dimpfl Sr. on April 5, 1975 in Olean, Mr. Dimpfl survives.
Mrs. Dimpfl was a certified nurse’s aide at the Houghton Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Olean.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters; Gladys Dimpfl Bolivar and Rose (Richard Holmes)
Bolivar, three sons; Ken (Tina Adams) Morris Salamanca, Greg (Jamie) Dimpfl Jamestown and Paul Dimpfl
Wellsville and several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving are three brothers; Jack
(Linda) Lovell Olean, Francis (Brad Scott) Lovell Little Valley and Herbert Lovell Friendship, one sister;
Charlotte (Jack) Hardy Olean. She was preceded in death by four children, Julia Penelope, Leroy, Robert
and Francis Dimpfl Jr.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday December 6, 2018 at 2 P.M. in the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, 1935 Windfall Rd., Olean, NY. Bishop Cameron Markert will officiate. Burial will be at
the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
