Nina H. Ferguson

Nina H. Ferguson 83 of 572 Horse Run Road passed away on Sunday January 20, 2019 in the Olean
General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born February 9, 1935 in Emporium, PA, she was the
daughter of Charles and Mary Dodson Howard. Nina married Donald M. Ferguson on July 5, 1954 in
Brocton NY. Mr. Ferguson survives.
She was a graduate of Brocton Central School class of 1953. Nina was a former employee of Acme Electric
Co. Cuba, later was a legal secretary for Leslie Haggstrom Esq. Bolivar and Fern Adlestein Esq. Olean. She
was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, David (Cathy) Ferguson Westfield NY, Terry (Ivan
“Fred”) Wilson Bolivar, Donald Ferguson Jr. Shinglehouse PA and Karen (Michael) Coakley Gilbert AZ. Also
surviving are thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was
preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Jones and Rosemary Cornell and one brother Charles Howard Jr.
Friends may call at the Bolivar United Methodist Church on Saturday January 26, 2019 from 10A.M.-12
Noon. Funeral services will be held following visitation. Elva Cornell, CLM officiating. Burial will be in
Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
