Shirley G. Brundage 87 of 4052 Times Square (Nile) passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2020 in the
Cuba Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility following a lengthy illness. Born on February 14, 1933 in
Richburg she was the daughter of Harry M. and Elga Paul Hardman. Shirley married Cleo Brundage on
March 22, 1951 in Richburg; Mr. Brundage preceded her in death on November 9, 2013.
Shirley was a waitress at the former Double U Truck Stop Ceres. She was a member of the Richburg First
Day Baptist Church, Friendship Fire Department Auxiliary for over sixty years and Allegany County
Fireman’s Auxiliary for over fifty years. She volunteered with Friendship Fireman’s Auxiliary at the Bingo
Hall, was a former member of the Olean Motorcycle Club and a former member of the Friendship
Snowmobile Club.
Surviving are one Daughter Patricia (David) Carney Bolivar, two grandchildren; Lyn (Brad) Davis Bolivar
and Chad (Liz Cuneo) Carney Bolivar. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren; Austin Davis, Nicholas
Davis and Madison Carney and her twin sister Norma (Oliver) Amesbury Macedon NY. She was preceded
in death by a brother Harry P. Hardman on September 20, 2020.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Saturday December 26, 2020 from 11 A.M.
- 1P.M. Private family funeral services will follow visitation. Pastor George Sweat of the Genesis Bible
Church Scio Officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship NY.
Memorials to Friendship Fire Department would be appreciated by the family.
