Donald A. “Andy” Saunders 62 of 7373 Anderson Hollow Road passed away unexpectedly on Friday
December 31, 2021 at the Olean General Hospital. Born January 17, 1959 In Wellsville, he was the son of
Donald and Anne Nicholson Saunders. He married Susan Doane on December 2, 1978 in San Antonio,
Texas; Mrs. Saunders survives.
Andy was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School Class of 1978. He owned and operated Saunders & Sons
Contracting Company of Bolivar and was store manager for Carpet Town in Weston Mills, NY. A jack of all
trades, Andy enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors enjoying his pond and especially his dogs Lily &
Buddy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Andy Saunders II Bolivar, Justin (Heather Dickerson)
Saunders Bolivar, Robert Saunders Bolivar and Matthew Saunders Wellsville; eight grandchildren, Drew
(Briana) Saunders, Danika Saunders, Kendra Saunders, Quinlyn Saunders, Braden Lewis, Owen Lewis,
Abagayle Dickerson; two brothers, Robert (Terry) Saunders, Marietta, GA and Timothy (Elle) Saunders,
San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Jill (Alan) Best, Avon Park, FL and Jackie (Brian) Morrison, Bolivar and
several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no prior visitation. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
