Jane E. Pangburn 69 of 2544 Pangburn Road passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021 in Strong Memorial Hospital Rochester following a brief illness. Born on October 31, 1952 in Olean she was the daughter of Alfred and Theo Schoonover Hathaway. Jane married Theodore Pangburn on December 22, 1984 in Richburg, Mr. Pangburn survives.

Jane was a graduate of the Oswayo Valley High School. Jane was a former employee of the Cuba Cheese Company, Bolivar Shop and Save, bartender at the Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Bolivar and Cattaraugus County Rehabilitation Group Home Olean. Jane was a member of the Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Auxiliary Bolivar and the Richburg Fire Department Auxiliary.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Shawn (Lisa) Milne Richburg, Suzy (Kirk) Jandrew Cheektowaga NY and Rebecca Milne-Handmore Demopolis AL, eight grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, four step grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, two brothers, A. Allen (Calla) Hathaway and Steve (Linda Clayton) Hathaway both of Shinglehouse PA, and a brother-In- law Ron Thompson Floral City FL.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Nichole Pangburn 1995, a brother A. Dennis Hathaway and a sister Jackie Thompson.

Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday December 3, 2021 from 2-5 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held from the Funeral Home on Saturday December 4, 2021 at 11 A.M. Pastor Larry Allen of the Richburg First Day Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing will be required.
