Norman M. Tarr Jr. 74 9440 Route 417 West passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021 in the Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born on November 2, 1946 in Bolivar, he was the son of Norman M and Goldie Sharp Tarr Sr. Norman married Frances I Nupp who preceded him in death. Later he married Karen Langdon who preceded him in death.

Mr. Tarr was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. serving from 1969-1971. He was employed by Harrison Radiator Company Lockport for thirty years retiring in 2002. Following his retirement Norman was employed as a bus driver for Bolivar Central School for Five years retiring in 2016. He was a former member of the Gasport Fire Department, Dodge Drifters Snowmobile Club and enjoyed riding his numerous Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Surviving are one daughter Michele L. Parlier Burt NY; eight grandchildren, Jason Tarr, Justin Tarr, Tiffany Tarr, Britney Tarr, David Griffin, Ashley Griffin, Nicolette Parlier and Jessica Parlier; several greatgrandchildren; four brothers, George (Pattie) Tarr Houston TX, Terry Tarr Richburg, Dennis (Patty) Tarr Homosassa FL and Rodney Tarr Blue Richburg; six sisters, Sylvia Pettit Little Genesee, Pearl Bennett Cuba, Phyllis Barber Bolivar, Norma Kay Vanjeuchte Big Pine Key FL, Diana (Greg) Mosher Channahan IL and Pauline Sue (Norman) Varner Richburg.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Norman Tarr III, Patrick Tarr, and Ronnie Tarr; two brothers, Jack Tarr and James Tarr and two sisters, Gloria Tarr and Connie Forester.

A Graveside services with full Military Honors will be held in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 12 Noon. Pastor David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries Bolivar will officiate.

Memorials to the Charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
