Theodore L. “Ted” Pangburn
1941-2021

Theodore L. “Ted” Pangburn 80 of 2544 Pangburn Road passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 at
home following a lengthy illness. Born on July 11, 1941 in Olean he was the son of Nuel and Ethelyn
Dorrett Pangburn. Ted married Jane E. Hathaway on December 22, 1984 in Richburg; Mrs. Pangburn
preceded him in death on November 24, 2021.
Ted was employed by DeWitt Concrete Company for over twenty-six years prior to his retirement. He was
a life member of the Richburg Fire Department and a social member of the Kenyon Andrus Post 772
American Legion Bolivar.
Surviving are three children, Shawn (Lisa) Milne Richburg, Suzy (Kirk) Jandrew Cheektowaga and Rebecca
Milne-Handmore Demopolis AL; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren,
four step great-grandchildren, two brothers Kenneth (Pam) Pangburn and Donald (Emma) Pangburn both
of Richburg and one sister Betty (Cliff) Green Richburg.
In addition to his parents Ted was preceded in death by a daughter Nichole Pangburn 1995 and his step
mother Dorothy Pangburn.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Sunday 2-5P.M. Funeral Services will be
held from the Funeral Home on Monday December 27, 2021 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Larry Allen of the
Richburg First Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
