William Robert Graffius
1937-2021

William Robert Graffius 84 of 6510 Richburg Hill Road passed away on Tuesday September 14, 2021 in the
Cuba Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born on April 23, 1937 in Bradford PA, he was the son
of Melvin W. and Mary Prokopi Graffius. Bill married Pamela Riggs on July 3, 1971 in Ellicottville, Mrs.
Graffius survives.
Bill was a graduate of Bradford PA. High School and continued his education at University of Pittsburgh at
Bradford. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1955-1959.He was employed as a pattern
maker for Coachman Industrial Patterns Elkhart IN and later at Dresser Rand Company Wellsville. Bill was
a member of the Western New York Shuetzen Society, and was proud to have obtained his private pilot’s
license.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, William R. (Paula) Graffius Perrysburg Ohio; two
grandchildren, William (Jennifer) Graffius and Julie (Andrew) Jarrett; five great-grandchildren, William,
Zachary, Drew, Colin and Emmitt. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jill and a brother Melvin.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 18, 2021 in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar at 12
Noon. Rev. David Herne of Heritage AFlame Ministries will officiate.
