William B. Rockefeller 73 of 72 Liberty St. passed away on Wednesday September 15, 2021 in the Strong
Memorial Hospital Rochester following a lengthy illness. Born on February 26, 1948 in Olean he was the
sun of Rayshel and Ida Hortense Mascho Rockefeller. William married Bonnie Montgomery on June 22,
1970 in Ft. Story, VA. Mrs. Rockefeller preceded him in death on October 11, 2000. On August 29, 2021
he married Judith Redeye. Mrs. Mascho survives.
Mr. Rockefeller was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1969-1972. Mr. Rockefeller was employed as
a welder for Dresser-Rand Co. Olean for thirty-five years retiring in 2008. He was a member of the
Followers of the Way Church Friendship.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Billie Jean (Roy) Hamilton Portville, Johann (Bobbie)
Rockefeller Grand Isle MA and Karl Rockefeller Little Genesee and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Monday September 20, 2021 from 9-11
AM. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 11 A.M. Pastor Kevin Palmitier of the Followers of the Way
Church Friendship will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
