Arnold L. Loucks Sr. 96 a former Richburg resident passed away on August 17, 2021 in Mobile. He was born in 1924 and was the son of Archie and Sadie Mascho Loucks. He was married to the former Maxine C. Filips for sixty-six years; Mrs. Loucks preceded him in death in 2009.

He was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was deployed, landed on the Normandy Beach Head on D-Day. He helped to liberate France, Belgium, and Germany. Arnold was discharged in 1946.

Surviving are three children; Charles Loucks, Carol Douglass and Arnold Loucks Jr., seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, one sister, Maritta L. Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shanon Shaw and seven siblings.

There will be no prior services. The family will celebrate his life with their own special memories in the days ahead. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.

MATTHEW 25:23

His master said to him, “Well; Done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little: I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”
