Carol A. Greene
1937-2022
Carol A. Greene 84 of 7723 Foreman Hollow Road passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2022 in the Wellsville Manor Care Center following a brief illness. Born on June 5, 1937 in Portville, she was the daughter of Thomas and Genevieve Signor Cotter.
Carol was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School class of 1955. She was employed by the Bolivar Central School as the executive assistant to the superintendent for many years prior to her retirement. Following her retirement Carol served two separate terms on the Board of Education.
Surviving are five children, Clark W. Greene Hamburg NY, Les (Betsy) Greene Bolivar, Jeffrey M. Greene Bradenton FL, David B. Greene Amity and Cheryl A. Greene Henrietta NY; six grandchildren, Lucas T. Greene, Corrinne Greene, Jessica Greene, Janelle L. Greene, Genevieve M. Greene and Lealah Greene. Also surviving is one sister, Penny L. Herlet Westlake Ohio. In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by two sisters Janis M. Fleri and Mary Kay Lund and a brother Thomas L. Cotter.
A private family graveside service was held on Friday May 13, 2022 in the Rathbone Cemetery, Coneville PA. Rev. Carol Stewart officiated.
