Dove Joyce E. Robinson: Loving Wife, Mother, Sister

Joyce E. Robinson, 79, of 1587 County Rd 5., Bolivar passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at Jones Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was Born on May 24, 1943, in Hornell and raised by Claude and Genevieve Myers. On August 22, 1964 in Portville, she married Jack Robinson who survives.

Joyce was a graduate of Bolivar Central School. She had worked at AVX in Olean and as a cook at the Wedgewood Restaurant in Eldred. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker raising her family and taking care of them. She also enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her husband of 57 years Jack, she is survived by
2 Sons: John Robinson, Olean and Joseph Robinson, Richburg
A Brother: David Myers, Bolivar

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings Claud, Paul, Eddie, and Bettie Myers.

Friends will be received at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc., 554 South Main Street, Bolivar, on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Roy Elliott will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar.
