Lynnette R. Seamans 52 of 8887 Rt. 417 West passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2022 in the Olean General
Hospital following a brief illness. Born on April 4, 1970 in Hornell NY, she was the daughter of Larry
and Evelyn Morse Woodworth.
Lynnette married Thomas Seamans on July 14, 1990 in Hornell NY. Mr. Seamans survives.
Lynnette attended Hornell High School and Barbizon School of Beauty in Rochester. She was employed in the
housekeeping department of the DeSoto Hotel and the Microtel Hotel in Olean. Later she was employed in
retail sales at the Walmart Store in Olean. Lynnette enjoyed home decorating and doing landscaping.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her parents Larry and Evelyn “Jean “ Woodworth Hornell NY; one son,
Brent Seamans Brooklyn NY; three stepchildren, Andrew (Jane) Seamans Franklinville NY, Martin (Michelle) Seamans
Olean and Carie (Andy) Walters Cuba; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five brothers,
Michael Woodworth Hornell NY, Terry (Teresa) Woodworth Piffard NY, Jerry (Sue) Woodworth Alabama, Daniel
Woodworth Hornell NY and Patrick Woodworth Greenwood NY; three sisters, Laurie (Brian) Button Wayland NY,
Donna (Lanny) Herrick Canisteo NY and Kim (John) Yezarski Almond NY.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday June 13, 2022 in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar at 11 A.M. Rev.
Elva Cornell pastor of the Bolivar United Methodist Church will officiate.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
