M. Marlee Baker 87 of 784 Chapman Mountain Circle and a former Richburg resident passed away on Saturday April 30, 2022
at home following a lengthy illness. Born on September 24, 1934 in Allentown, she was the daughter of Paul L. and Edna
Chapman Hackett. Marlee married Donald A. Baker on October 19, 1952 in Richburg; Mr. Baker preceded her in death.
Marlee was employed by Acme Electric Co. Cuba for many years prior to her retirement.
Surviving are three children, Kurtis Baker Orchard Park NY, Kristy (Donald) Stives Charlottesville VA and Kelly (Beth)
Baker Stannardsville VA; daughter-In-law Peggy Baker; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers,
Ken Hackett Plant City FL, Duane Hackett Lebanon TN and Butch (Chris) Hackett Allegany and numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins. Also surviving are special friend Ella Stives and her diamond in the rough Eddie Slocum.
She was preceded in death by a son Kevin Baker on October 26, 2014.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday May 6, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. Funeral services will be
held from the funeral home on Saturday May 7, 2022 at 2 P.M. Pastor Ben Ramirez of the Faith Bible Church Little Genesee
will officiate.
Burial will be in East Portville Cemetery.
