Mildred V. Sahm 93 of 130 Plum St. passed away on Saturday April 9, 2022 in the Jones Memorial Hospital Wellsville
surrounded by her family following a brief illness. Born on June 26, 1928 in Williamsport PA, Mildred was the
daughter of John and Mildred Young Phillips. Mildred married Rev. Harold Sahm in 1947; Rev. Sahm preceded her
in death in 2013.
She was a graduate of the Williamsport PA. High School class of 1946, and attended Lancaster PA School of the Bible.
She was a member of the Cross Town Alliance Church Shinglehouse PA and was a member of the Little Genesee Garden Club.
Surviving are two children, Gregory (Melissa) Sahm Bolivar and Annette Alizai Fairfax VA; four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Eileen Ankney.
There will be no prior visitation. Memorial services will be held at a late date to be announced.
Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
In Lieu of flowers memorials to Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone NC 28607 would be appreciated by the family.
