Phillip E. Gapa, 63 of 95 Olean St. passed away on Thursday September 8, 2022 at St. Vincent Medical Center Erie, PA following a brief illness. Born on April 5, 1959 in Batavia, NY, he was the son of John and Theresa Alaimo Gapa.

Phil attended Bolivar Central School. He was employed as a car detailer for Ferris & Forbes Car Dealership in Bolivar.

Surviving are two sisters, Susan Bradt Oakfield NY and Marci Corona Kannapolis SC; one brother, Glenn Gapa Olean and a friend and care giver Michael Covert Bolivar and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Thomas Gapa.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 10 A.M. at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar. Rev. Elva Cornell will officiate.

Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery Bolivar.
