Michael M. DiPaola
1963-2023
OleanMichael M. DiPaola of 111 North 14th Street passed away on Saturday February 11, 2023 at home following
a lengthy illness. Born on November 22, 1963 in Olean, He was the son of Anthony and Jean Holcomb DiPaola.
Michael was a graduate of the Olean High School, class of 1981 and received an Associate Degree in Social
Science from Jamestown Community College. Michael owned and
operated the Brooklyn Bakery in Olean for many years.
Surviving are his loving companion Caroline Nagle Olean; his father Anthony DiPaola Del Ray Beach FL; four children,
Miles DiPaola Jr. Los Angeles CA, William DiPaola San Antonio TX, Carl DiPaola San Antonio TX, and
Samantha (Dave) Clark Erie PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren; two brothers, George (Chris)
Moses Olean and Anthony (Judy) DiPaola Georgia; two sisters, Pam (Bucky) Deviling Olean and Karen
(Joe) Caya Hinsdale.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Moses; a brother Danny DiPaola and a sister, Kathy Jehlen.
Per Mr. DiPaola’s request, there will be no services. Memorial services will be at the convenience
of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
